Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who was the country's love interest following her win of the American Idol title in the premiere season. The win not only catapulted her to stardom and acclaim, but it also earned the singer a multi-album contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. In the years since her debut her album, she's released several albums. From those, three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also close to the top spot. She was among America's top performers. In the course of her career it was evident that she experimented with new themes and styles of music. Often co-writing songs in order to express her thoughts. Due to her uniqueness and skill as a performer, she was praised by reviewers and was awarded a couple of prestigious prizes. Notably, she's been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. Apart from her professional career in music, she's also appeared on television and film. She is also the writer of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in numerous charitable organizations.
