It was during this broadcast that Bolton's Fabrice Muamba, a player in the midfield for Bolton FC, collapsed with heart failure on the field. That evening, Lowe was interviewed by each UK major media outlet. Lowe is the very first female Briton to host a FA Cup Final six-hour-long live broadcast was made in May 2012. Lowe's time with ESPN UK began in 2007 when she joined Setanta Sports as a presenter journalist and host for their entertaining coverage of Football Conference. She was co-host of Football Matters Setanta's Premier League Studio Program.
